Side effects are uncommon but may include, hyper or hypo-pigmentation, mild to moderate burning, permanent skin discoloration, temporary redness and or swelling. Itching in the treated area, hives or rashes are typically of an allergic reaction. This doesn’t mean you have to stop having treatments with The Naked Truth Skin Care, it will clear up in a day or so and if it doesn’t clear up right away usually an antihistamine is all that is needed. The best way to minimize the risk of any of the aforementioned side effects is to avoid sun exposure of any kind at least a week before treatment. Avoid tanning for at least two weeks prior. Avoid sunless tanning products at least a week before as well.
